Fall For Axis and Got Dissapointed

Just about 2 weeks ago, I noticed how cheap axis BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) is. I’m very satisfied with my Telkomsel BIS, but the price of axis is just very irresistible. It only costs IDR 100,000 per month and is considered very cheap compared to

• Telkomsel -> IDR 180,000 / month
• XL -> IDR 150,000 / month
• Indosat -> IDR 180,000 / month (not really sure)

So, I gave it a try. It works fine for the first three days in terms of speed and stability. Speed was good and it was stable. Not a single minute, it was drop. To be honest, I was bragging to all my friends that I have made a great deal with AXIS and how it satisfies my needs. However, it is too good to be true. There’s always a price to pay for a great service. It only lasts 3 days until it goes unstable. The BIS disconnects every 5-10 minutes for an hour or two. It’s very bad. All my friends were complaining for not being able to reach me. There is nothing I could do for now because I have paid the monthly fee, so now I have to just suck it up and use it till the time expires.

On other hand,  the calls and sms fees are quite cheap compared to Telkomsel. This probably the only reason why I’m going to keep using Axis. Let’s see how this goes from here on.
